	Peeta Mellark Katniss has known Peeta since they were children, though they didn't really get to know one another until they were both Reaped in the 74th Hunger Games at the age of 16. While she had volunteered for Prim, no one volunteered for him. Much of their relationship began being built on Katniss' belief that she owed him her life for giving her bread at his own personal cost. During the games they were forced to act as star crossed lovers, despite her awareness that he was very much not acting. She has felt conflicted feelings ever since, which were damped with anger and hatred when he is taken by the Capitol and returned to her mentally damaged to the point that he tried to attack her upon seeing her. She is unsure of what to do when he arrives onto the island of Atia after months of not seeing him. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

	Finnick Odair Finnick has been Katniss' friend since they met prior to the Quarter Quell, when the tributes trained up before stepping into the arena. He came across to her as aloof and flirtatious when he first offered her a sugarcube in order to subtly show her he is on her side - revealing the bracelet all their allies in the rebellion wear. Even after the Quarter Quell, when the two of them suffer emotionally wondering when Annie and Peeta will be returned to them, he still adorns the bracelet proving he will never abandon her. Even in Amat he is still very much by her side whether it is as a shoulder to cry on or to just hang out and tie knots for old times sake. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

	Gale Hawethorne Gale has been with Katniss since the beginning. They hunted food together in District 12 and fought tooth and nail to protect their families and each other. 	Tony Dinozzo Katniss is curious about Tony at first due to his laid back nature and his personality's similarity to Haymitch. They have a relationship that is filled with both teasing and deep discussions. He's become much like a father figure to her in her time on the island and she considers him family, often going out of her way to offer to babysit his daughter, Tali Dinozzo, or to help him any way she can. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

	Hermione Granger One of the first people to greet Katniss on Atia, while initially wary Katniss warms up to her quickly. She has become someone whom Katniss is close to and they share a rather close bond as time has gone on on the island. Their mutual emotional and physical scars have only recently been brought to light. Hermione has become someone akin to how Katniss felt about Madge, whom she still mourns. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

	Ryan Evans She first met him when he came out of the woods and helped him with his collar when he offered to help her with his. His bright personality brings out a side of her she had never really felt before, except with Peeta. It is strange and new and exciting to her that she is able to get to know someone like him - even learning to dance from him. Their relationship has grown from physical to emotional intimacy as Katniss struggles daily with her emotional scars that war with his sunny and optimistic personality versus her own jaded outlook on life. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

	Max Black Katniss met Max when she first came to the island, answering questions/breaking the news to her. They eventually became friendlier to one another as Max became employed at Midgar Blues. They have a somewhat sisterly relationship as Katniss worries for the girl due to her poor decision making relations with Mavros on occasion. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

	Mavros Shahrizai Katniss met Mavros when she started working at Midgar Blues and they have an off and on banter. She does not wholy agree with his approach to women, namely a certain Max Black whom she is rather close to and protective of. She isn't sure what to make of him and feels rather awkward and embarrassed since their first curse together. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

	Cassie Ainsworth When first meeting Cassie, Katniss wasn't sure what to make of her eccentric and somewhat unhealthy ways and the fact that she was sleeping with Finnick did not win her over easily. Katniss felt very strongly that this was a betrayal of Annie and disliked Cassie as a result. She slowly began to grow on her and the two have become somewhat good friends. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

	Phedre no Delunay Phedre is someone who grab's Katniss for her seemingly bizzare beliefs and utter calm when faced with the situation the island presents (aside form the obvious blasphemy of the beliefs of Terre D'Ange "Love as thou wilt"). She is smart and friendly and Katniss has yet to ever have an uncomfortable or uninformative conversation with her. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
